Our mission statement is to create pride in our Black heritage and promote family values and unity in Atlantic County. By educating and exposing our youth, the community and tourists to the original American art form of jazz and to celebrate the rich and dynamic African-American history during the era of Chicken Bone Beach.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
After visiting Martha's Vineyard, Mass and meeting the family that was honoring the Historical Inkwell Beach - We decided to honor our Historical beach in Atlantic City, NJ - Chicken Bone Beach (Missouri Avenue Beach)
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We honor the name by presenting Jazz and honoring the artists who appeared in Atlantic City during that era and artists who trained under these artists. As the years go by (19Years we just honor excellent straight-a-head jazz artists. Year 2018 We only have funds for one free outdoor concert at Brighton Park, and the boardwalk, it will be in August 2018. The Brighton Park is in front of the Claridge Hotel and the Boardwalk. How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have concerts year round most of the times every 2nd and 4th Friday indoors - $10 fee in the Claridge Hotel, The Club - the 4th level - next to the Celebrity Club. Again check our website for the schedule - - www.chickenbonebeach.org for our events

We accept All credit Cards and cash of cause - $10 at the door for the indoors concerts - if free outdoors then no charge - please check our website for the schedule and if any charges.

We are honored to giving back to the community when funds are available. The audience enjoys the jazz artists and the jazz artists appreciate how much our audience love straight-a-head jazz also they enjoy and look forward to seeing friends and enjoying our wonderful program each year.
